TOWER BRASS QUINTET
Concerts
In performance, the quintet offers a wonderful blend of fine music while establishing a delightful rapport with their audience. The music ranges from Renaissance to Contemporary, from popular transcriptions of show tunes to commissioned and original chamber works. The group has a diverse repertoire with something for everyone.
Christmas Programs
One of the most popular Tower Brass Concert offerings is their Holiday program. A possible featured selection on this program is a narrated work titled "Emma's Christmas." Emma's Christmas, a hilarious retelling of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" by author Irene Trivas, gets a musical treatment by ensemble tubist-composer David Saygers. It is the story of an overeager prince and a gift list that will not quit. Your organization could provide a "local celebrity" to do the narration which can be a great promotional opportunity and audience builder. Traditional carols and popular arrangements round out this perfect holiday event.
Workshops and Master-Classes
With a commitment to education, the Tower Brass Quintet is polished in presenting workshops to a variety of ages. The Quintet has participated in the Ohio Arts Council's Artist in Education Program and has presented master-classes and workshops across the Midwest. Educational programs are appealing to both students and potential concertgoers.
Weddings and Special Events
The addition of live music to your event adds a special touch that will greatly enhance it's look and feel. The TBQ is available for background music or as a feature for your corporate event, fundraising campaign, wedding, party, or graduation.
